• Hold the shift key while clicking on other points you want to move.
• Make sure that all the points you want to move are dark (highlighted).
• To unselect any mistakenly selected points, shift-click any point.
• Drag any highlighted point to move all the selected points simultaneously.
• You can also draw a marquee (selection rectangle) around points you wish to move.
• Note that drawing a marquee* around some points also shows the other points of the path.
• Click on a blank area of your drawing with the Selection tool to unselect any currently selected points.

Keep in mind that Adobe Illustrator's marquee does not work like many other programs' marquee. For instance, PageMaker's marquee only selects objects that are completely enclosed by the marquee you draw. AI's marquee, however, will select a path as long as any part of it falls within the marquee.
